Former Mayor, Ed Daniel, Remembers

"We were saddened to hear of the death of Coretta Scott King,  born in Marion, Alabama, on April 27, 1927, and a distinguished graduate of the Lincoln School.  We are so proud of her many accomplishments and will always remember her frozen in time as the stately young woman that we were privileged to know."
